This one started with a request for something that simply does not appear in ordinary inventory. We went beyond our usual sourcing lanes, reached deeper into our network, and kept looking until the trail led to Paris.
There, we were able to secure this one-of-one piece specifically for the client. It was never bought as general inventory and never intended to wait on the site for a buyer. The buyer was already waiting.
Once it arrived, BAE evaluated the piece and moved it directly to its new owner. There was no listing cycle and no waiting period. The sourcing was the sale.
This is the part of BAE that does not always show up in live inventory. Some of our best work happens behind the scenes: chasing a specific piece, reaching beyond the normal pipeline, and finding something that may never appear in a public listing at all.
